Thrilled to be a keynote speaker along with the deadly filmmaker Rachel Perkins in Sydney yesterday at the AISNSW Wingara Conference: Weaving Knowledge of Country through the Curriculum. It was a packed event, and I’m excited for these educators, Allies and First Nations, making vital changes in our schooling systems. Thanks to little sis (biggest heart) Binowee Bayles for her Welcome to Country and cultural advocacy.
Mina big eso (massive thanks) to Ros, Wendy and their team for your generosity (taking my beautiful “Grandmother’s Country” scarf to Paris in four days) and your careful, thoughtful little details to curate such an inspiring and impactful event!
